Me: you do know this will take a couple hours and I still may need to call them to assist. Sometimes these databases break and they can fix them faster than me

Me: well played.

Needless to say I was on-site for 3 hours and the tech that I got on the phone was impressed that 90% of the conversion was done before I called. I told him I just needed to make sure that I was doing it properly before I went through the final steps, I didn’t want to be responsible for losing 10+ years worth of data. He was only on the call for 30 minutes and everything was completed and running smoothly.
