User: Yes, I’ve never logged in and I need help. What’s my user name and password.

Me: *Provides user name and new-hire password format. (format requires user know personal details about themselves… duh)*

User: That’s not working.

Me: What’s the error?

User: Invalid user name or password.

Me: My lockout tool confirms you’re typing an incorrect password.

User: I’m typing it correctly.

Me: Okay, sometimes we typo the passwords. Let me check… Nope, I can confirm the password matches the format as well as the information we have for you. Please ensure the correct capitalization and spelling.

User: I’m typing what it should be and I’m typing it correctly. What do you have?

Me: Sorry, I can’t confirm any information. You can tell me what you believe it should be and if it’s not correct, we can have HR update it.

User: It should be XXXXXXXXXXXX

Me: That’s correct.

User: Then you guys typo’d, please fix it.

Me: I’m able to login using that information.

User: I’m typing it correctly.

Me: You are not. Please spell XXXXXXX for me.

Me: That’s incorrect.

Me: That’s also incorrect.

Me: YES!!!
