Let me start with, if you don’t get my dry sense of humor or if you feel that I am mean to my kids. Just stop reading because this isn’t for you.
Let me set the scene. I am driving my SUV with my son in the passenger seat and daughter in the 2nd row seating and we are listening to the radio. They are describing a parent that drove their vehicle into the lake, jumped out and left their kids in the car to drowned / die.
Me: Dammit why didn’t I think of that?
EJ: Think of what?
Me: Driving my truck into the lake with you guys in it so I can have peace in my life.
EJ: Please don’t do that, I can’t swim.
Me: Just stand up! You would be fine.
(Hannah busts out laughing)
EJ: Well that was rude!
Me: what the truth was rude?! Most lakes in Florida are like 10ft. stand up and push off and your head would be above the water.
EJ: Ugh!
