It’s Flashing

U: I turn my computer on and it flashes the home screen the the screen is black. what is wrong with it?
Me: It could be xyz. I don’t have the machine in front of me I am just guessing here. How old?
about 8 years
I am happy to look at it but I think you need to just replace it.
