User: I have this email to setup OneDrive, what is OneDrive?
Me: *Spends 5 minutes explaining OneDrive*
User: I don’t want that.
Me: That’s not really an option. OneDrive is being deployed across the entire company.
User: Nope, I don’t want it.
Me: Okay, so again, not really an option.
User: Well I’m not letting you install it.
Me: That’s fine. *Remote restarts the computer*
User: My computer is rebooting.
Me: Yep.
User: Why?
Me: Because even though you don’t want OneDrive, the computer still needs to show it’s in policy.
User: All my desktop icons are gone.
Me: Yep, that tells me the new Folder redirection is working and the computer is in policy. Have a great day.
User: NOOO. You need to fix this.
Me: Unfortunately, the only way to fix it is to migrate your files to the OneDrive Folders but you’ve declined.
User: Because I didn’t know you were going to delete all my files.
Me: Nothing was deleted, they’re exactly where they used to be. Have a great weekend.
